Institute for Research Services, popularly known as IRS came into being in 1985, when Information Technology was in its nascent stage in Kerala. IRS has grown over the years into a leader in the field by empowering multitudes of students with IT knowledge to scale career heights. Based at Thrissur and reaching out to the entire breadth of Central Kerala with a franchise network, IRS today is in the forefront in imparting quality IT training, right from computer fundamentals to the complex wireless networking and web designing. IRS goodwill is reinforced and spread by thousands of its students, who have come here as novices and passed out as competent IT professionals. IRS is the approved Programme Study Centre of IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) for MCA, BCA and CIC Computer Science Programmes. IRS also has accreditation of DOEACC, under Ministry of Information Technology, Govt. of India, to conduct ‘O’ Level and ‘A’ Level computer courses.
